Description

The gate and gate piers located approximately 8 metres east of Coverham Abbey House date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. They are constructed from ashlar stone and feature cast-iron gates. The piers stand on bases and are topped with cornices and ball finials. The 19th-century gate includes fleurs-de-lis finials.
