Description

The roadbridge over Potts Beck at Water Houses, dated 1875, is a Grade II listed structure that incorporates a parish boundary stone. It features a single span with a segmental arch. The bridge is constructed from squared, snecked rubble, with roughly-dressed blocks used for the parapet. On the inner north wall, the stone displays the word "PARISH" in Gothic lettering, along with a split date and "ASBY-SOULBY" in Roman lettering below.
