Description
This is a row of three houses, now shops, dating to around 1820, with alterations made in the later 19th century. It has a mathematically-tiled roof with boxed eaves and a low, pitched plain tiled covering. The roof features two stacks behind the ridge and a gabled dormer window to the right, with wavy-edged bargeboards and a finial. Two small gables are positioned over splayed bays to the left of the front facade. The building is three storeys high, with an attic, and has a four-window front that is slightly irregular. The left side has three two-storey splayed bays, with two sash windows to the right. There are three shop fronts on the ground floor; the left shop has a recessed entrance on the corner, a central door, and a wider right-hand shop front with a door to the left. Number 192 has a separate entrance on Market Street, featuring pilasters and a triangular pediment above the door.
