Description
Malling Rectory is a house built in the mid-18th century, with additions from the early and mid-19th century. The front is made of cobbles with red brick dressings, while the rear features painted brick and stone. It has a moulded cornice beneath a slate roof, which includes end stacks and two skylights, and the rear has plain tiled roofs. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The left pair of windows has been replaced by a single two-storey canted bay. The windows are glazing bar sashes, although the glazing bars have been removed from the bottom blade of the ground floor sash on the right. The entrance is located on the right side of the front and features a columnar doorcase with an open triangular pediment above. The door is half-glazed and has a fanlight above it.
