Description
Church Lane Bridge is a railway bridge, likely built around 1846, that carries Church Lane over the cutting of the now disused London, Brighton and South Coast Railway line from Lewes to Tunbridge Wells. It is constructed of yellow brick, featuring red brick bands and dressings, along with some stone elements. The bridge has three arches, which include impost bands and stone-dressed circular recesses in the spandrels. A corbelled band runs along the panelled and coped parapet.
