Description

Moat Barn, located at Plumpton Agricultural College, is a large L-shaped building that likely dates back to the 17th century. Originally part of Plumpton Place, it is now used by the college. The north wing features timber framing, while the east wing is covered with tarred weatherboarding. The building has a hipped tiled roof, which includes a pentice on the eastern half of the south front. Inside, there are queen-posts and diagonal braces.
