Description

This is a late 19th-century house located on the south side of Friar’s Walk in Lewes. The ground floor is built of red brick, while the first floor is clad in tiles. The roof is covered in plain tiles, with bargeboards and a tall brick stack projecting to the right, featuring an oversailing head. A gabled dormer window has a sliding sash. The house has two storeys and an attic. It has a single window to the first floor and two windows to the ground floor, all of which are sash windows. A porch with a pyramidically-hipped roof is located on the right-hand return front, providing the entrance. The building is listed for its contribution to group value.
