Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of Friar’s Walk in Lewes. The house is constructed of grey headers with red brick dressings. It features a flat wooden eaves soffit supported by single brackets, and a slate roof with a stack to the left. The house is three storeys high with a single window facing the front. The first and second floors have glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has a sash window. To the left of the front window is a panelled door with a radiating fanlight, set within a recessed round-arched entrance. The entrance surround is moulded and includes key- and impost blocks, with the keyblock carved as a female mask.
