Description

The Gateway to the west or main drive of Burton Park, associated with St Michael's School, is a gateway likely erected by Major J S Courtauld in 1919, designed in an 18th-century style. It features double crested wrought iron gates leading to the carriage drive, with pedestrian gates on either side. These gates are set within a railing that curves around to stone gate-piers, which have unfortunately lost their caps. The mansion itself is located in Barlavington parish.
