Description

This is an early 18th-century house of two storeys and an attic, originally comprising five windows. The roof is steeply pitched and uneven, covered with tiles and featuring two flat dormers. A deep eaves cornice is heavily modillioned and moulded. The front elevation is slate-hung and painted. A central, straight oriel bay window with sash windows occupies the first floor. Two recessed sash windows with glazing bars are situated either side of the oriel, the outer windows being larger and likely later additions. On the ground floor, a bowed shop front of the 18th century, with glazing bars and a central double door, is present. To the left of the shop front is a six-panel door sheltered by a flat hood, alongside a sash window with glazing bars. To the right, another door is paired with an early 19th-century shop window characterized by larger panes and glazing bars.
