Description

These are a pair of early 18th-century houses located on the south side of New Street in Petworth. They are two storeys high, with a three-window front. The houses are built of painted brick and have tiled roofs. Number 1 has a modillion eaves cornice. The original glazing bars are intact in the windows. The doorways are round-headed, set within moulded architrave surrounds, and have semi-circular fanlights above.
