Description

Whistlers is an 18th-century house located on the east side of Middle Street in Petworth. It is a two-storey building with two windows. The house is constructed of painted brick and has a tiled roof, topped by a parapet. A modern shop window occupies the ground floor. Above this are casement windows with wooden shutters. The building has undergone name changes over time, previously known as Card Shop Cottage, the house attached to the Card Shop, and The Cottage, Angel Corner.
