Description

Ryde House is a large house dating from the early 19th century, positioned endwise to the road. It has two storeys and five windows facing east, with a single window facing south. The exterior is stuccoed, featuring long and short quoins, a wide eaves bracket cornice, and a hipped slate roof. Original glazing bars are present throughout. A gabled porch is centrally positioned on the east front. A doorway on the south front is distinguished by pilasters, a projecting cornice, and a semi-circular fanlight. Round-headed rusticated windows flank the doorway on the ground floor.
