Description
Coppards and Corner Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century or earlier, located on the east side of Middle Street in Petworth. The building features a distinctive curved front at the south end and stands two storeys high with five windows. The ground floor has exposed timber framing with painted brick infilling, except for the curved end, which has been refaced in red brick. The first floor is tile-hung and slightly overhangs the ground floor with a bellcast profile. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casements, mostly with small square panes.
