Description

This is a house, now used as a pair of shops, originally dating to the 16th century and significantly altered in the 18th century. The front of the building is stuccoed and features a moulded eaves cornice. The roof is tiled and has three flat-headed dormers, with stacks behind the ridge on both the right and left sides. The building is two storeys high with attics, and has three windows. The first floor has small, splayed bays with sash windows. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century shop fronts. The shop on the left is single with an inset glazed door to the left, while the shop on the right is double with a central inset glazed door. A lower arched entrance at the right leads to an alleyway, where exposed floor joists are visible above the ground floor, related to a side jetty and including a dragon-beam.
