Description
Nos 201 and 202 on High Street are a pair of houses that have been converted into a shop. They date from the late 18th century and were altered in the mid-19th century. The building features a mathematically-tiled facade, painted on the left side, with quoins made of even blocks on the two left-hand bays and a parapet hiding the slate roof. The structure is three storeys high and has a three-window front. On the lower level to the right, there are tripartite margin-light sash windows, and the first floor has splayed bays in the two left-hand bays. The ground floor to the left is rusticated cement with three arches and a half-glazed door with a blocked transom-light above it at the extreme left. To the right, there is a later 19th-century small shop front with pilasters.
