Description
This building, known as Christine, Rothermere and the Crusty Loaf, is located on the east side of North Street in Midhurst and is likely from the 17th century. Originally a lobby entry house, the northern half has been rebuilt. The southern half features a stuccoed front, while the northern half is made of coursed stone rubble with red brick dressings and quoins. The building has modern casement windows and a recessed doorway that includes pilasters, a projecting cornice, and panelled reveals. It stands two storeys tall and has six windows.
