Description
The Angel Hotel is a hotel and public house built in the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The exterior is stuccoed, featuring a rusticated ground floor with a stringcourse above it. It has a dentilled eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. The first floor windows have moulded lintels supported by reeded corbels, and the doorway is topped with a pediment. There is a carriage archway at the north end of the ground floor. The building stands three storeys tall and has eight windows, making it a prominent feature on North Street due to its height.
