Description

The Parish Church of St John the Baptist is located on Clayton Underhill Lane. The church features a chancel, a nave with a north aisle, a shingled bell turret at the west end, and a north porch. The nave is largely from before the Conquest, while the chancel dates from the late 13th century and the north aisle from the 15th century. Notably, the nave contains impressive wall paintings from around 1150.
