Description
Little Danny Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, which was refronted in the mid 19th century and has a large 20th-century extension that is not of special interest. The building is timber-framed, with exposed flame and curved braces on the ground floor, and curved tile hanging on the first floor. It features a tiled roof that is half-hipped on one side, with an off-central chimneystack that has a 19th-century top. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows, with 19th-century casements and a square bay on the ground floor. There is a central two-storey projecting gabled porch and a four-bay lobby entrance plan. The parlour includes an original fireplace and a two-panelled door, while another room has an open lobby entrance plan with beams and a four-plank door. The first floor retains old floorboards and an original fireplace above the parlour.
