Description

Jay's Farmhouse is an L-shaped farmhouse located in Bignor Village. The north-east wing dates from the 15th to 16th century and is a timber-framed structure, with the timbering and plaster infilling visible on the north wall, although it has been refronted with flints and stone. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped, covered in tiles. The building features casement windows, with gabled dormers on the first floor, and a doorway that has a gabled hood. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has two windows. To the south-west, there is a taller 19th-century wing made of red brick, which has two windows facing south.
