Description

Orfold Farmhouse is an L-shaped farmhouse located on Billingshurst Road in Wisborough Green. The southwest wing likely dates from the 17th century and is two storeys high with three windows. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the upper floor is tile-hung, topped with a tiled roof. It features casement windows. The east wing, built in the mid-19th century, is of a higher elevation and also two storeys with three windows. This section is made of red brick with alternating grey headers and has a tiled roof with intact vertical glazing bars. The doorway is adorned with pilasters, a pediment, a rectangular fanlight, and a door with four moulded panels.
