Description
The Parish Church of St Peter ad Vincula is a Grade I listed church located in Wisborough Green. The church features a chancel, a nave with north and south aisles, north and south porches, and a west tower. The west end of the nave dates from the late 11th century, while the east end is from the late 12th century. The tower, chancel, and north aisle were built in the 13th century, and the south aisle was added in the 14th century. The porches were constructed in the 15th century. Notable wall paintings from around 1275 can be found in the nave. The entire building underwent restoration by Ewan Christian in 1867-1868, which was previously attributed to Butterfield.
