Description

The Parish Church of the Holy Cross is a Grade I listed parish church located in Bignor Village. It features a chancel, a nave with aisles, a south porch, and a west bell-turret topped with a shingled spire. The chancel arch is of Norman design, while the rest of the church dates from the 13th century and was restored by G.E. Street between 1876 and 1878. This church is considered to be of average quality for a medieval structure and has not been overly restored.
