Description

Coaters is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. It is a timber-framed building that has been restored and enlarged. The original structure has two storeys and three windows. The west wall features exposed timbering with plaster infilling, while the rest of the building has been refronted with coursed Malmstone and flints, accented with red brick dressings and quoins. The cottage has a thatched roof with three "eyebrows," which have been raised using red brick. It also includes casement windows. There are modern additions on the east and north-west sides.
