Description

Valewood Farmhouse is a house that was formerly the home of the Yaiden family. It dates back to the 16th century or earlier and features a timber-framed structure that has been refaced with coursed Wealden sandstone on the ground floor and tile-hung above. The house has a steeply pitched hipped tiled roof and casement windows. The windows on the ground floor have stone mullions, while those on the first floor have wooden mullions. There is a four-centred stone doorway. The building has two storeys and three windows, and it contains open hearths inside.
