Description
This former cartshed and hayloft, located about 30 metres to the north-east of Hoddern Farmhouse in Piddinghoe, is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The exterior is faced with flint and features a brick modillion cornice, quoins, and triangular buttresses. The end elevations are weatherboarded, and it has a half-hipped roof covered with old tiles. The building has two storeys, with the ground floor open to the south-east. Inside, it consists of five bays, and the framing includes some diagonal braces. This structure is included for its group value.
