Description

This former cartshed, located about 40 metres south-west of Cottons Farmhouse, is now used as a store. It likely dates from the 18th century and features a timber frame with rendered infilling and a plain tile roof. The structure consists of two timber-framed bays and is single-storey in height. Notable architectural details include exposed principal posts and arch braces, a hipped roof, and a boarded door on one side. Inside, there are short cut jowls on the posts, short dragon ties, and a clasped purlin roof that is ceiled above the purlins. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
