Description

Woodstock House Hotel consists of two separate sections, originally two houses. The eastern wing dates to the 18th century, though it likely stands on the site of an earlier building. It is two storeys high with a stuccoed front. It has a tiled roof and casement windows set within stucco architrave surrounds. The south-west wing was built in the mid-19th century and is taller than the eastern section. It is two storeys high, with faced dressings, quoins, and a modillion eaves cornice. It has a hipped slate roof and the glazing bars in the windows are missing. The building is included in the listing primarily for its group value within the surrounding area.
