Description

The Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart is a church built in 1896, designed by architect F A Walters. It features a 14th-century Gothic style and is constructed of stone with a slate roof. The church has a gabled porch at the west end of the south front and a projecting aisle of one storey to the east. To the south, there is a gabled transept that includes an octagonal turret and a tower topped with a thin spire. The east end of the church is apsidal.
