Description

Michelgrove Cottages, originally the stables of Michelgrove, is an early 19th-century building. It is two storeys high and features seven windows, constructed from red brick with alternating grey headers. The building has a parapet and a hipped slate roof, with intact glazing bars. On the north side, the three central window bays project and have a higher parapet above them, while the middle bay is recessed within a round-headed arch that rises to the height of two storeys. At the east end, there is a one-storey wing that projects to form a courtyard, which is enclosed on the fourth side by a flint wall along the bank of the adjacent field, which is at a higher level.
