Allington Farmhouse is likely a 17th-century building, with later alterations. It is two storeys and has an attic. The east-facing front has five windows and two dormers, while the south-facing front has four windows. The building is now tile-hung, featuring a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a steeply-pitched hipped slate roof. The ground floor has ordinary sash windows with intact vertical glazing bars. The first floor has horizontally-sliding sash windows. A doorway is topped with a flat hood supported by brackets, and it has a six-panel door.
