MILL ROAD (West Side) Retaining walls to pools either side of Pumping House at Home Farm

2. Mid C19. East pool. Lower courses red brick with grey headers (English bond): battered. Upper courses nodular flint with ashlar coping, and Pulborough stone piers. West pool. Lower courses Pulborough stone. Upper courses Purbeck stone with ashlar coping. Bridge at north corner: Pulborough stone voussoirs and red brick spandrels: no parapet. Very overgrown.

The Home Farmhouse, farm buildings, pumping house and bridge form a group together with the retaining walls to the pools.
