Description

The White House is an early 19th-century house located on Buriton High Street. It features stucco walls set on a flint plinth, with malmstone at the rear and brick dressings. The roof is low-pitched and hipped, covered with slate. The symmetrical northeast front has two storeys and three windows, which are sashes set in reveals. The doorway is adorned with a shallow moulded cornice supported by slender pilasters, has shallow panelled reveals, and includes a six-panelled door with two glazed panels at the top.
