Description

The Green Man is a house that was formerly a public house. It dates back to the late medieval period and features a timber frame with remnants of a cruck. Inside, there is a fireplace from the 16th century. The exterior has 19th-century cladding and has undergone significant renovations in the 20th century. The walls are made of painted brickwork, and the roof is hipped and covered with tiles. The east front elevation is two storeys high and has four windows, which are 20th-century casements arranged in one bay. A large tiled canopy supported by brackets covers the entrance.
