Description

This is a 17th-century barn attached to the east end of St. Kildas. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded, with some brick and concrete block outshots, and has a corrugated iron roof. The barn has five bays and includes a projecting midstray porch in the center. To the right of the porch, there are two bays with a 20th-century outshot in line with the porch. The left bay has an added roof at right angles, connecting the barn to the stone bay of the house. On the far side, there are five stable doors, indicating that the barn is now used as stables.
