Description

The Almshouses are a building with a late 16th century foundation that was rebuilt in 1840. It is designed in an early Victorian Tudor Gothic style and constructed from stone with a tiled roof. The structure is one storey high with an attic and features casement windows, along with two doorways that have four-centred arches and dripmoulds above. There are four windows and four gable dormers. Inscriptions in Gothic lettering are located above the doorways, stating 'Erected AD 1578 Restored AD 1840'.
