Description
Rose Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It features walls made of brickwork with blue headers, complemented by flush red quoins and rubbed cambered arches that have a flat extrados. There are bands below the cills made of Flemish bond with blue headers, and a flush band of blue headers at the first floor. The eaves are adorned with red brick dentils, and the roof is tiled. The symmetrical south front elevation has two storeys and three windows, with the centre window being blank and featuring a stone plaque inscribed with "WR 1770." The windows are modern casements, and there is a boarded door in a plain frame with a canopy supported by brackets. To the east side of the house, there is a garage block that matches the style of the main building.
