Description
This is a late 17th-century dovecote situated to the north-west of Newtimber Place, outside the north-west angle of the moat. The structure is octagonal and constructed with flint facing, accented by red brick quoins and stringcourses. It has a pyramidal roof covered in Horsham slabs, culminating in a cupola at the apex. The dovecote retains its original nesting boxes and a double potence.
