Description

The Parish Church of the Holy Trinity is a cruciform building comprising a chancel, north and south transepts, a nave, and a north porch, with a central tower. Construction took place around 1370, commissioned by the brothers Thomas and Richard de Poynings under the provisions of the will of Michael de Poynings, who died in 1369. It is considered one of the finest medieval village churches in Sussex.
