Description

The Well House, located to the south-east of Saddlescombe Farmhouse, is a small square building dating from the 16th to 17th century. It is a timbered shed that is faced with weather-boarding and sits on a flint base. The building features a pyramidal slate roof and contains an intact donkey-wheel, which was used to raise water from the well.
