Description
Nos 14 to 18 on Dragon Street is a 17th-century building with an 18th-century front. It has two storeys and features nine windows. The tiled roof slopes down to the first floor level at the back and has a prominent pediment-like gable over the three central front bays, which project slightly. There is a dentilled eaves cornice that runs continuously across the gable and to the gable eaves. A blocked lunette with a gauged brick arch and keystone is present. The front is made of painted brick, with recessed sash windows featuring glazing bars under gauged brick arches on the first floor. The central door consists of six fielded panels. The ground floor has modern shop windows, except for two 18th-century windows with bars, located on either side of the central door. Nos 14 to 28 (even), along with the gazebo and garden walls to the north and east of Dragon House, form a group.
