HEYSHOTT MILL LANE SU 81 NE 17/33 Bex Barn

Barn. C17. Timberframed barn clad in weatherboarding and brick and stone rubble footings to side and rear, with tiled roof with gablets. Integral outshut to left hand side, and double cart doors. 3 bay barn aisled to one side. Angled queen struts and rafters without ridgepieces. Joweled upright posts and midrail to front wall. This barn inspired a work by Ivan Hitchens the C20 artist "Curved Barn" of 1922.
