Description
The Church of the Holy Trinity is a parish church built in 1851 by Habershon, showcasing Decorated Gothic style. The walls are constructed of coarse flints with Bath stone dressings, featuring a plinth, diagonal stepped buttresses, and hood moulds. The church has mostly coupled lights with tracery, including three lights at the east and west ends, and tall lancets in the chancel. The roof is tiled. The chancel consists of two bays, while the nave has four bays and a south aisle, with the eastern bay serving as the base for the tower. There is a south porch and a similar structure on the north side that functions as a vestry, which was extended in the 20th century to include a flat-roofed hall. The tower is topped with a tiled broach spire and features steep gablets above the bell stage, which has lancets, and it widens at the lowest stage with diagonal buttresses. The interior is Victorian in style.
