This is a late 18th-century house on the south side of High Street in Lewes. The exterior is finished with grey mathematical tiles and red dressings, topped by a deep modillioned eaves cornice and a plain tiled roof with end stacks. The house is two storeys high with a regular three-window front. The upper windows are glazing bar sashes with heads set into a cornice. Ground floor windows are glazing bar sashes with segment heads. The central entrance has a six-panel door with reveals, flanked by Doric pilasters that support an open triangular pediment enclosing a radiating fanlight.
