Description
Nos 4 and 5 Friar's Walk is a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They feature grey headers with red brick quoins and dressings on the left side, while the right side is stuccoed. The houses have a flat wooden eaves soffit supported by paired brackets, and a slate roof with end stacks. They are three storeys high and have a regular two-window layout, with paired central entrances. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with red brick dressed surrounds on the left side; the second-floor windows are shallower than those below. The central entrances are paired and have panelled doors set in pilastered surrounds, topped with a central pilaster and a corniced hood.
