Description
Sawmill House, the Old Sawmill, and the adjoining Cottage is a late 19th-century building that originally consisted of two cottages and a sawmill. The entire structure has been restored, with the sawmill now converted into three garages located in the center of the block, and an additional cottage to the north. The building is a long structure topped with a tiled roof that features a hip and a pentice at the south end. Due to the slope of the ground, the north end, which includes one house and the three garages, is only one storey high. The house has three windows and is constructed from stone rubble with red brick dressings. The garages have an open front on the east side, showcasing the barn-like roof inside. The two houses at the south end are two storeys tall and have seven windows. The ground floor is made of stone rubble with red brick dressings and quoins, while the upper part is faced with tarred weather-boarding and features modern casement windows.
