Description

Wardley Cottage is a pair of cottages dating to 1637, marked with the initials 'R W P'. The building is timber-framed and faced with stone rubble set in galletting, with red brick quoins. It has a tiled roof. The windows are casement windows, some with stone mullions. A stone doorway features a four-centred head. The cottage is two storeys high and has five windows. The interior includes a good chimney-piece.
