Description

Keepers Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage located on Milland Lane in Milland. It is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings. The cottage has a hipped concrete tiled roof with a catslide to the rear, and brick chimney stacks at each end. A later timber-weatherboarded single-storey extension sits on a brick plinth to the north-west side. The ground floor has two casement windows with leaded lights in wooden surrounds, each with a cambered head. A boarded door is centrally positioned within a cambered architrave. Internally, the cottage retains timber-framed partitions, an original staircase, and original fireplaces.
