Description
Steep Marsh Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century, 18th century, and early 20th century. It features walls made of brickwork in both English and Flemish bonds, with cambered openings. The rear of the house has an exposed brick-nogged timber frame, and there is some tile-hanging on the upper floor. The roof is hipped and tiled, with a gable at the rear. The building has an L-shaped layout that consists of an old block with more than one phase and a later wing. It is two storeys high and has irregular fenestration with casement windows. There is also a lean-to trellis porch.
